Starting with the domestic production of Korea's first two-stage high-pressure compressor in 1974, the company developed and produced Korea's first 200 bar ultra-high pressure compressor in 1988, and produced and supplied Korea's first 400 bar four-stage compressor in 1996. In addition, in 2017, they received performance certification for the containment fill station for breathing air compressors from the Korea Gas Safety Corporation and are now selling it. MSL Compressor's main product is a 310 bar ultra-high pressure breathing air compressor, which is a high-purity breathing air compressor required by firefighters, military, police, and marine applications. In particular, heat and pressure safety are very important for the use of ultra-high pressure products over 300 atmospheres, and MSL Compressor has achieved the feat of being the only company in the world to achieve the industry's most repeated 800-hour pressurized continuous operation test by a domestic government agency, as well as the most demanding European test. Pressure certification and gas purity quality were also achieved. In addition, this technology is also used for pressure testing in the aviation, space, semiconductor, ultra-precision, high-quality, and high-precision industries, and is evaluated as a reliable product that is most widely used by Korea’s leading companies and government agencies.
Sung Si-min, CEO of this company, said, "Based on our quality in the domestic market, we are currently exporting to the industrial, defense, and fire departments of many countries such as China, Vietnam, the Philippines, the United States, and Canada." With the hydrogen industry emerging in accordance with Carbon Neutral 2050, MSL Compressor has already developed a 700 bar ultra-high pressure compressor solution for hydrogen vehicles, the first in Korea and the second in the world. Accordingly, as the only company in Korea with a solution that can supply small and medium-sized high-quality hydrogen compressors at a reasonable price in line with changing energy trends, the company plans to build charging infrastructure that is a key to the hydrogen economy and develop related domestic industries.
